A LaTeXed version of the legendary mimeographed notes by the world-renowned topologist.
There is a more “sophisticated” version published by the Princeton University Press https://press.princeton.edu/books/paperback/9780691081229/characteristic-classes-am-76-volume-76.
However, the site by the late professor Ranicki https://www.maths.ed.ac.uk/~v1ranick/ still lists the mimeographed version. So the transcriber believes that this retyped version is of some use.
